AMERAUCANAS-BUFF:

Mom decided to add buff Ameraucanas when she parted with her lavenders she had had for 4 years, they were pretty but not a showable color. We had hatched out one from an egg in 2016 and she had lost it just after it started laying. In spring of 2017 I bought her some chicks from Christina Kitsch and at Ohio Nationals last year she picked up a few trios from the Vances. The buffs are a very pretty variety that are APA accepted, but not as commonly seen as some of the flashier colors. Current stock is cocks from the Vances over hens from Kitsch and Vances. We had run 3 pens of buff this spring for awhile and there are offspring from those more focused breedings as well as offspring from the larger group.
