Our current flock has a black copper rooster covering Black copper and blue copper hens from Adams Acres (via both Nicksfield Farm AND my friend Robin), a farm in OH, and offspring out of these from our own hatches.
She has had her Marans for 6 years or so years, were based off
of birds from Adamson Acres originally. last year and the year before she added
in birds from the Bitners to improve size and type, this spring she did pick up
7 very young pullets and a cockerel from Wickis Chickies to grow out as well.
She is asking what she paid for the ones from Wickis Chickies and that will be
the same price she is asking on all the Marans pullets and cockerels. Hens and
older pullets will be higher as they have been culled down to the keepers from
larger groups already.
$20 a piece on the young pullets $30 each for older pullets and hens
$10 on the cockerels or free with 2 girls
