I opted to hold back Howlite for fall breeding- I really love the height of his dam's rear udder and want to cross him to a couple of does including Ladybug. he will be available in Oct to a new home as I still have both of his parents and I brought in ALOT of boys and 8 is too many to stay long term....
Dam's info:
Lassi ended up with the highest set udder in my barn, it is JUST under her vulva. Her udder could be wider- but that may come with further freshenings, her teat placement is very nice as well. Her rear lateral attachments go over halfway down her udder- it is VERY tightly attached overall.
Her Dam Clementine was on the 2020 305 day milk test top 10 list was #8 in BF wt & #7 in BF %. She was again on the 2021 305 day milk test top 10 list; was #9 in MILK wt, #5 BF wt, & #2 in BF %.
Her sire Hawkeye's dam was in MDGA's 2018 top 5 for "Lbs. of Fat"(she was #5). His only freshened daughter, Tilly, was on the 2020 305 day milk test top 10 list and was #2 in BF %, as well as the 2021 305 day milk test top 10 list was #4 in BF wt & #1 in BF %.
